Complexometric and colorimetric determinations
were never so easy, robust and cost effective thanks to the general
purpose FotoSense dip probe.
Compatible with standard laboratory and process analysers. |
|
|
FotoSense is an optical dip probe
for the determination and tracking of the optical absorbance of chemical
samples. It is particularly suitable as an indicator sensor in the
complexometric titration of metal ions in solution using standard complexing
indicator dyes. However, coloured metals ions like copper, nickel, cobalt in
metal plating baths or other process solutions can often be measured
directly by dipping the probe into the bath.
The FotoSense can also be used in
colorimetric determinations of metals at sub-ppm levels using selective
complexing.

The FotoSense sensing method is
universal and not restricted as are ion selective electrodes with their
limited range of species covered and poor robustness. The FOTOSENSE is
therefore particularly attractive for the modern laboratory where unattended
automated analysis is expected as well as in process analysis applications
which have especially high endurance and reliability requirements.
