Use FotoSense to measure copper levels in
treated process effluent |

Colorimetry
Trace metal determination using sensitive and selective
complexing indicator dyes is an effective and robust technique for waste
process stream analysis. In this example copper is determined with the
reagent cuprizone. The colorless reagent forms an intense blue complex (extinction
coefficient 1.6x104) with copper that allows sub-ppm determinations.
