FotoSense is a general purpose sensor for a
wide range of photometric titrations.
It allows determinations which were not possible due to no available ISE |

Titration - Examples
Two examples of titrations of
zinc and copper are shown in the figures using eriochrome black T and
murexide indicators with detection of the end-point at two different
wavelengths. These determinations can be carried out for a variety of
different metals using more or less the same determination parameters. As
such the methodology is very flexible and needs little optimization for a
new analysis situation as would be the case with ion selective electrodes.
Very sharp end-points are obtained using photometric detection which enables
accurate assays to be performed. |
